i’ve been captivated. by the rhythms of life. by the culture of people and individuals. by the beauty that surrounds all of us whether we choose to see it or not. made a choice to live a life of unending exploration, discovery, and unearthing.
professionally, though not certified (yet), i am an educator. love teaching. love children. their entire being is important to me. my desire is to speak truth and identity into them. my desire is to become a part of their lives, cultivate a love for learning, and launch them into their God-given dreams.
i have a heart for justice. i’m a psalms 101 girl. there’s no wall that is too thick or strong for God. my heart especially burns against the injustice we know as human trafficking, slavery in its essence. this injustice will be stopped. it says in God’s word that i will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
i’ve been captivated/captured by Jesus who loves me through and through. that’s why i look at life through a different lens. a lens of thanksgiving. i approach every morning with grace and mercy. my walk has become more confident. my steps more steadfast. so that no matter what life throws at me, i’ll catch the beauty of it.
capturvate me.
